Bone Spreading Kit
This kit is used for the spreading of thin ridges for implant placement. This kit uses a series of spreading pins to slowly spread a ridge open after being cut with a bone saw. This kit makes bone spreading simple and predictable.
Instructions for use
- Using the saw provided cut the alveolar ridge ( shown in the image below)
- Insert the spreading pins in-between the incised ridge. If the spreader is too thick, use above chisel to widen the gap
- Connect the spreading adaptor to the spreading pin and turn clockwise
- Spread the ridge evenly by spreading the pins equally in series
- After the ridge is expanded to the ideal width, remove the spreading pins and place the fixture
- Place Grafting material inside of the ridge before closing the flap
